Hawaiian BBQ Chicken

Chicken thighs quickly marinated in a sweet savory shoyu sauce.  Throw them on the grill or quickly cook them in a cast iron skillet for that perfect sear.

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Lb Chicken thighs skinless, boneless
  • 1 cup shoyu
  • ½ cup ketchup
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp ginger minced
  • 2 tsp garlic minced

Instructions

  • Add all ingredients to large bowl or large ziplock with the chicken. Mix everything together and marinate for 8-12 hours.
  • Heat large cast iron skillet (or grill) and when hot enough add chicken. Cook for about 10-15 minutes on Medium flipping halfway. Remove from heat once chicken is thoroughly cooked.
  • Serve with side of rice! Enjoy!!
